To be successful in education, it is more important to be a good student than to have good teachers. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays, education is an important thing for everyone in this world and everyone should get educated. Education is the key that unlocks the door to all life. Some people believe that being a good student is more important than being a good teacher so that lead success in education. However, the others hold the opposite view point. In my view, the student determines whether learning will be successful or not.
To begin with, it is obvious that every student benefits from good teachers. In fact, they have a good qualifications and subject knowledge; they are organized, energetic and have empathy and good communication skills. This is obviously important for good education.
In addition to education comes from both teachers and the world around us. For example, student can learn in the playground and in the street, as well as at home with their parents. They also learn from the media when studying alone and reading a book. Therefore, the teachers' role is actually small. The students' responsibility also plays an essential role to take advantage of these opportunities. Motivation and diligence are obviously important. They need a reason to study; it may be intellectual curiosity, career prospects or even fear of our parents.
Finally, a more important quality in a student is the innate ability to learn. He can gain more knowledge and skills if he has intelligence, good concentration and memory in the way of both short-term and long-term, as well as the ability to see connections. These natural talents enable him to gain more from both teachers and the world around him.
